Post How to seal a bigger TMIC

Need help just installed an X02 Racing TMIC and the stock Sti splitter rubber boot or gasket is too small how do you build a new one or modify the hoodscoop for better fitment over the bigger TMIC.

Thanks in Advance

Alex

How did you direct airflow to your larger TMIC?

Any thoughts on removing the air splitter completely and those people with the rubber seals has your set up lasted on the car with no melting issues.

(Using turboXS hyperflow TMIC) I put weatherproofing foam around the IC hole. I stuck it to the underside of the hood because it comes with sticky glue on one side. When the hood is closed it seals down around the IC body but it does not melt. I had to trim the parts of the metal shroud that used to hang down so it would fit.

Most of us are using a garage door seal. $9-15 at you local home improvement store. I attached mine with the "extra heavy duty" 3m double sided tape.
