Pull the two top clips out of that driver side grill then you can pull both the painted exterior section out and the black mesh grill comes out with it. They may seperate from each other a little when you pull it out but dont worry. You might have to pull hard to mine were not to bad. Then on the back side of the grill there is I believe just to small nuts holding the emblem on. I did not remove mine I just saw it last night when I installed my perrin front license plate delete.

Seems like a lotta ppl break at least 1 tab when they remove the grill. Any tips on removing them without breaking anything?

Are you talking about the little pink sti letters on the side grille? if you are it's a pain to take it off. It's held on by 2 metal locking tabs that bites into the plastic studs on the back of the little emblem. Which basically means that it's easy to push them onto the studs but once they are there it's impossible to get them off.
