Default How do I install OEM HID into MY05 Impreza?

Hi

I want HID's in my Canadian STi (yes we got stiffed) so basically this is like a 05WRX headlight. Sometime the US STi headlight comes on sale, can I just pop these in and plug them in? Splice a few wires by the headlight to make em work?

If they pop in and plug right in can I get the leveller switch and install it in my car?

Can I just get the ballast and mount them in my existing headlights....PLZ Help I want factory HID's preferably with the levelling. So if you know how this works in a WRX please tell me.

ALSO will the DRL still work...need those for legal issues in Canada.

Yes its plug and play but you need a new wiring harness, thats all though.

You cannot just get the ballast/bulb/ignitor setup, its not made for the headlamps, you need the real STI ones.

DRL is just pure wiring, you would need to figure that one out by yourself.

Leveling same thing, nice feature but wiring it up from scratch might be a toughy.
