Default Who does the labor on your STI?

Just for my own information (and I'm new to the import performance world) I'd like to know who does the work on your car when you want to modify it?

Thanks for your participation!

If you do your own work you know exactly who to blame if it's not right.

I do most of the work except brakes. I never touch the brakes after I lost my brakes changing the front pads on my '69 El Co when I was a teenager.

i like to do my own, but I had to check dealership as most of the work that i have had done so far required tools i don't have. I couldn't get a lift to replace the clutch, flywheel and i don't have an alignment machine in my garage (actually i don't even have a garage, which hinders it more). Did my own coilovers, wheel swap, intake, bov, stereo, and soon brakes. Why pay for those things you can handle yourself?

madman77 - about to do the brakes myself. from the videos on hspn and the few things i've read on here, it looks to be one of the more simple brake jobs ever. hopefully i won't wind up feeling the same way as you =)

I do all the labor myself. It's fun plus you get to learn more about your car.

I'm a mechanical retard with no garage or paved driveway, but simple mods that do not effect my engine or transmission are always up for me to try.

Rallitek elbow..OH YEAH!!

Mechanically inclined here... I'm always in need of assistance from a friend, or if the job is large pay a tuner.

I prefer to do what I can myself. Helps me to understand the car, I know 100% how the job went and obviously saves a little money. (Most of the time)

Car's under warranty, so I let the dealer do it.
