Default Oil gauges: Tee em or sandwich em?

In regards to oil pressure and oil temp gauges, what is your preferred method of installation? I have heard that oil pressure should be sandwich adapted and oil temp should be tee'd. Any experts please chime in, thank you!

I just used the greddy sandwich adapater, which has 2 tap-in points, or whatever you want to call them. I've done this on atleast 5 different cars with no problems.

Or there are 2 galley plugs on top of the block (which is what I used). One for pressure, one for temp. I don't think there is a right or wrong way.

where are these plugs and how do you plug into them, drilling required or is there a bolt that gets removed?

any one know where to get the T so you can connect both oem and the aftermarket pressure sensor in one galley?

I installed my oil temp and pressure sensors in the galley plugs. The temp sensor went under the intercooler plug and the pressure sensor replaced the factory dummy-light sensor (which resides under the alternator.) Removing the factory pressure sensor doesn't cause any ill effects; no warning lights etc.

I went with the galley plugs based on suggestions from this forum and NASIOC. Apparently using the galley plugs tends to give you better accuracy and sensitivity to changes (pressure drops/temp spikes etc.)

So out of curiosity (and subscription) What is more acurate? the galley or the sandwich? Any good vendors for the sandwich? It sounds like it might be a little bit easier because of NTP vs BTP.

The only "wrong" way to do it is to use a T or remote-mount for an Oil temperature sender. T's and remote-mounts work great for pressure, but if you try to do that for temperature, the reading will be completely wrong.
