Search the how to forum for 'DRL'. The thread on how to turn them off is in there. It is really easy, just take the glove box off and unplug a 10 pin connector.

Check and make sure you don't have your parking lights on, above steering.

If you unpluged the right connection, none of the lights should be on, unless you turn lights on.

So you don't want your parking lights to ever come on?

ya know, I unplugged the DRL plug under my glovebox and tested it....didn't work. I rechecked on the scoobymods instruction thread, tried again, and still didn't work.

Then I moved the car around to the front of my house, and it worked!! Maybe it has something to do with moving the car. I dunno. Try unplugging it and moving the car a few feet.

Also, mine only come on when I have the headlight switch in the middle selection, or when I use them as parking lights. They are off any other time.

*edit Oh, if you search around, there is a way to disable them from the engine bay. If you disable them there AND where the relay plugs under the dash, that should remove them completely. If you search for DRL of day running lights on here or NASIOC you should find it.

He's talking about the little bulb in the headlight that turns on with the low/high beams (it's between the low and high beem). That same bulb also turns on when you flip the parking light switch.

Unplug 10 pin. No more DRL.
