Default IC coupling

Does anyone know if theres a better clamp than the hose clamps on the IC coupling? Mine, since I bought it, I was warned to keep an eye on it because it tends to slip. It seems to wiggle the clamp off the intake, then the coupling gets loose and I hear it leak. The IC side seems ok, any ideas?

I have seen this happen on another board members car and the only way we could fix it was to buy an aftermarket longer one.

If you don't want to go that route, you could buy T-bolt clamps.

napa has the t-bolt clamps.. they are classified under the f150 superduty special order section... ask them to measure out the coupler so u get the right size.

Their IC hose prices are pretty good too. My stocker has streched and is torn on the Intake manifold side under the clamp

FWIW, I just placed an order for all new T-Bolt clamps for my APS DR525. I got them through partssystems.com. Their prices are about 2.XX for each clamp. Definitely the best prices I have seen. I managed to get 16 t-bolt clamps shipped to me for under $45.

Where did you get the individual coupling from? I have only found it as part of a full set. I could not find them on Forge motorsports.

Default Best thing to do...

is get a Samco or similar Silicon coupling...since changing mine out, haven't had any problems...

Also, you may think about using t-bolt clamps rather than the usual...name slips my mind right now...clamps you tighten with a screwdriver or nutdriver...
