Default Turbo-Back Exhaust --- Need Help

Okay. I finally found the time to put my WORX Tuning TBE on. I'm wanting to know some pointers if you have any.

I have:
Over 1,000 Tools
2 Post Lift
A 5 Hour Window

About how long should it take? And what should I remove to make this go faster? (TMIC, Turbo Sheild, . . .)

Any help would be great.

Thanks Much,
Cody

I did mines in less than 2 hours with just a ramp, and a couple of tools.
Buy a can of PB blaster.

PB plaster is most important. Esp if you have an 04.

To make it easier, take off the topmount. And make sure the car is cooled down. =) (i didnt).

Next search the heatshield, you'll find i believe 12 or 13 botls holding the heatshield onto the downpipe (pain in the ass, i know).

Spray some PB on the 5 dp bolts and also on the bolts connecting the DP-Catback (2).

Drop the entire catback out and remove it form the car (2 bolts and 4 hangers)

**NOTE, WD40 or dish soap will help you with this**

Once you get that out, go back up top and remove the 5 bolts from the turbo to downpipe.

Go back under the car and remove the bolt connecting the downpipe to I believe the transmission (not positive). Its where the downpipe begins bending up from under the car to mate to the turbo.

There is also one more bolt at the end of the downpipe where its hooked in. remove that and your golden. Just dont forget to take off the 02 sensore before you pull the downpipe out from under the car.

**NOTE, you can also unclip the 02 sensor harness and pull the DP out with the 02 sensor still in the downpipe.

Have fun. It should take you around an hour to an hour and a half.

You also busted studs, so don't make it seem like it's that fast ;

It took me several hours (across two days), but I went slow and made sure it was a clean install. Getting the stocker off is the longer part of the process, the new one goes on fast.

You get a new turbo-downpipe gasket yet?
