Default Need Help - RCE camber plates

Hey,

Got a question about installing the plates, perhaps those of you that are running these can chime in.

I installed the camberplates but for some reason I cannot max out the negative camber. It feels as if it knocks against something when moving it over and will not go any further. I am currently running sti pink springs along with the plates. I have yet to get an allignment with this new set up. At first, I thought I might have installed the spring hat facing the wrong direction, but I checked and they appear to be facing the correct direction. Is it just that I cannot get full adjustability with this particular set up or is something else wrong? I have included a picture to explain what I am talking about.

thanks,
spencer

OEM struts will not allow you to much more than -2deg. There is nothing wrong with the plates/springs or car.

The spring tophat will hit the base of the plate. When using most coilovers with a smaller tophat, you would get the full slot adjustment.

If you do get contact while drriving, it sucks. It causes pretty bad memory steer and I think, when you turn the wheel, the lower strut and spring turn in the tophat instead of the top hat pivoting in the camber plate.
