help guys, need to change auto to manual

wat would i need to change a automatic wrx to a manual wrx? would i be able to do this myself? and also woulda manual wrx box be better or a gtb legacy box????? going in a forester

Sell your car... buy manual car.... Lesson learned. If your gung ho on it its approx 6k unless your a mechanic.

I always wonder why this is so common a question. its going to cost so much to do the work and for what? an identical car thats not faster with a different tranny.
