Default hks carbon ti ?

Just got my HKS carbon ti installed acouple days ago and when we tried to mate up the first section of the catback to the stock flange there was a donut gasket not allowing us to screw the bolts back on with the spring in the middle. So we took the donut gasket off and used the gasket that the hks came with and it mated perfect. So did we do that correctly? Or did i have to leave the donut gasket in and not use the springs with the bolts...I know a lot of you here has this exhaust so just let me know what you guys did...thanks! Oh HKS FTW!

yea you did it correct. just check for leaks, if you do have some you can either run the donut gasket or put gasket sealent until you get a flat flanged downpipe. and congrats on the exhaust excellent choice!

He lives in the Republic of Kalifornia which doesn't believe in modified exhausts.
