lttle tip, the boltz on the headers connecting the actual headers together from one side to the other (not to the blobk) are steel and tend to be a pain....to get off so some rust off really helpz!

1. buy PB Blaster.
2. get car in the air and ready to install the night before.
3. drown the bolts in PB Blaster. use the entire can.
4. install headers
5. profit!

i don't know a lot about the install yet since i still have to install my headers (MadDad headers + uppipe) but i did help out on an uppipe install on a WRX and it should be similiar. fortunately since we don't have an EGT probe in the uppipe it's a lot easier to remove. most people have told me that once you unbolt it from the turbo is pretty much falls out.

basic steps:

1. remove downpipe
2. remove heatshields around stock exhaust manifold
3. remove bolts connecting uppipe to the exhaust manifold and the O2 bung
4. remove bolts holding exhaust manifold
5. remove uppipe
6. reverse to reinstall the new APS header.

or um check the APS website next time for install instructions... :P

i shoulda looked before i wrote up all the stuff above.

Well I got my up pipe to header bolts off with just 2 14mm wrenches and a lot of pb blaster. My gruppe-s header didn't want to fit while my subframe was in place, so I took my subframe off(easy to do, just a few 17mm bolts and a few 14mm bolts) and that makes it a lot easier. With the subframe off you can take off the o2 sensor(I used a 22mm wrench) then take off the 14mm bolts or vice versa.
