Default How to install new pedals

I'm thinking about buying a set of Momo pedals or another type of aftermarket pedals and would like to know how to go about installing them. How do the stock pedals come off, etc.?

Thanks

momo's just go over your stock ones, unless they got some new style out. not really reccomened unless you want to risk your shoelace getting caught on the pedal....if you really wanted some bling pedals,go with the sti ones

i had a set of "aftermarket" exedy pedals. They sucked because the went over the stock pedals. I never used them because unless they replace the existing pedals... whats the point?

You will have to remove the existing clutch and brake pedals and replace it with.....and the gas pedal goes over the existing one.

you wanna put gay pedals over our sporty, grippy ones?

go for it!

edit: if anything, get the STi ones...they're money but will fit WAY better than any others and look awesome.

Racing pedals > "sporty" pedals.

The STI pedals are way overpriced and no better than anything offered by Sparco or Momo for much less money.

I'm pretty sure he's talking about the JDM STI pedals that are pink and are a lot larger than the stock regular STI pedals we get here in America.

Thanks though, i'll definitely check out the thread.

Don't waste your money on those STI pedals. If you want good aftermarket pedals, buy some Sparco Race Pedals for $29, they're 1000x better than those pink STI pedals.

Dont the Sparco or other pedals go over the Sti pedals?
Will it look funny with after market pedals that go over the STi pedals?
