Default 06 V-Limited Lip

Searched for this but couldn't find anything here or on nabisco. Any threads out there documenting the v limited install for an 06? Thanks.

What do you want to know?..... I installed mine about a month ago.

Its simple....

Get a set of ramps to make things easier.
Have a buddy help hold the lip in position. I recommend taping it in place while you mark the holes...
Mark the holes with a paint pen.
Drill the holes out to a size just barely smaller than the rubber nuts.
Back off ramps before you do the final install.
Insert the rubber screw nuts.
Tighten down the screws and press in the plastic push pins.......Your done.... See, its EASY!

Btw... The directions are in japanese, so you might as well throw them away!

Here are my pics....

Thanks a lot. I figured it wouldn't be too difficult I just wanted to hear it from guys who've done it especially since the directions will be basically useless. How many of the holes are already there and how many need to be drilled?

Basically you can pop out the clips already in your lower portion of your bumper, attach the lip with those clips in place, mark your holes, drill the holes and then bolt it all up.
The # I cant remember.
Sorry.

Can the v-limited lip also fit on a 06 wrx? since they have the same front end?

Thats what i did, It's a very easy install. I didn't even use ramps, just drove to car up on a couple of 2x6 blocks and used a right angled drill to drill the holes. I believe I used a 5/64" bit to drill the holes which was just tight enough to actually thread the screws into the bumper, which made the lip very sercure...In fact i probably didnt even need to use the supplied nuts, but I did anyway.

The lip I installed was the V Limited CF replica that I purchased from Eauto. So i'm not sure if the hardware differs from the real one...But everything was very high quality.

Wow very nice man!

The only thing that I worry about the CF versions is that the waves of it. If I were to get the CF version, I'd want all the waves to be exactly the same, not some random smudge somewhere. How much did the CF version cost?
