Default How do you remove the A, B, C pillars?

Just did a bit of searching and couldn't really find what i was looking for.... I'm in the process of painting the tan interior pieces a flat black to match the dash, and i have run into a wall. I cant, for the life of me figure out how to remove the A, B, C pillars (windshield, between the front and rear doors, and the rear windshield) if anyone who knows how to remove these... please chime in as im in the process of painting a few other pieces and would like to knock it all out at once

when i did the fronts i pulled from the top and it just popped out, pull towards the center of the car. if u can get it try to pry on it a little bit and try to see with a flashlight in it. that way you can get a general idea on it.

I'll ***Attempt*** it, but everytime I try to do something to my interior, it breaks.

Phame, i removed the A pillars tonight, successfully painted em, and just finished popping em back in....
I was going about it the wrong way before, its actually quite easy sorry no pics
1) at the top of the pillar, work your fingers between the pillar and the windshield, then pull along the windshield toward the center of the windshield, not the center of the car.... theres 3 clips holding the pillar in.... once you get the top clip however, its CAKE to take off.... remove and rejoice
2) i hit my pillars w/ 4-5 coats of black Plasti-Dip (same stuff i used on the silver dash pieces around shifter, radio, hazard button) and it came out great IMO.... i waited and waited and finally slapped em back in, got a little finger printy on the driver side... wiped down w/ a microfiber cloth and they look fine... slapped on some rubber gloves and did the passenger side... still some finger print smudges, but w/ a wipe of the microfiber they look fine (in the light of my garage ..... anyway, have confidence, once i figured out the direction they were supposed to go, removal was a snap

as for the B and C pillars.... you gotta remove the seat belts etc.... and since i gotta drive the car to work tomorrow blah blah blah.... its not something i shoulda waited to try on a sunday night.... i think if i can take the car apart for a day, paint, and reassemble, i'll be money

lemme know if you end up trying this... ill take some pics later and post if you would like

Very happy with end result, it really goes well w/ the black dash... i also painted my center trim pieces (silver pieces around hazard, radio, shifter) the same black, still have to do the vent rings though.... everything looks much better now

I hadnt thought about it but maybe i'll to a how-to write up, get a little how-to contributor badge thing.... I'll include the dash pieces as well as the A pillars... would you guys just like pics in this thread, and i can wait? or i can post one large write up when i do the vent rings, B pillars, and C pillars..... the only problem would be the A pillars and some dash trim is already painted... but i can take em back out and take pics and such
