Angel Eyes

I have always wanted to have angel eyes on my STi (just like RacerXS's car). I also wanted to get a retrofit done by Lightwerkz at the same time. However, the retrofit, for now, is out of the question until later next year. In the mean time, I want to clear my headlights and at the same time install angel eyes if the install is not too hard. Has anyone done this?

Have Lightwerkz do it, I feel it would be cheaper...

My idea is to purchase them from Lightwerkz, then install them myself since I do not want to deal with the hassle of shipping and having down time. If it is a very difficult install, I guess I would ship them and just get the retrofit now...

Hey, did you have the housing painted black? how come all the chrome is gone. or is it just like that when you get the retrofiting done?

Hey amg, i did exactly what ur plan is, i purchased the halo's from lightwerkz and installed them when i cleared and blacked out my headlights. The install wasn't too bad, just having the right adhesive is crucial, i tried jb weld but it took too long to cure so i wound up using a panel bonding adhesive that my father was able to get.

The inverter boxes also gave me some trouble with burning out on me but between lightwerkz and the company that supplies him the inverters we were able to come up with new inverters that have worked great so far. I got pic's somewhere, ill try and find em.. All in all go for it

Those are the 2005 housings...the 2004 housings are chrome and the 2005 has the black housings...
