VF39 oil return line

im installing a new vf39 on my 04 sti and im having troubl with the oil return line on the bottom, all the installs ive seen online just say it goes right in and to just secure the hose with the pinch clamp, but my hands dont fit, anyone else have this problem and figure out a trick that helped out?

did you try doing it from under the car? it can be a ***** to do. honestly i don't even remember if i put the clamp on. i haven't leaked since i ported the turbo like a year ago though. can you get the hose on at all? .....why'd you stick with the vf39?

I ended up buying a foot of hose and cutting it slightly longer than the stocker and got it on, that clamp is a pain in the @$$! I stuck with a vf39 because im poor..lol and got it for $400 plus i had to have the car emmissions tested asap and registration immediately renewed following. I found the vf39 quickly so i ran with it. Im working on saving up for a perrin gt30r kit for the future though..walbro fuel pump, plugs/wires,injectors etc. i have a bare block ready to buid up, ill prolly send it out first tho. etc... but for now its cobb stg2 til im not poor anymore..lol Thanks for the reply man!
