Default How to install rear window vane

that's right i wanna know how to install a rear window vane

the dealership won't do it so i am asking you guys

I think any competent body shop can install it. As far as I know it's four bolts through the C-pillar.

^Yup, any bodyshop could install it. Installation shouldn't be more than $200 IMO, prob much less since you will supply everything. Aslong as you have the instructions from Subaru when you buy the vane, the bodyshop should have NO problem installing it with ease.

so you are thinking that subaru will have instructions on how to install it?


well if that is the case then i don't know why the subaru dealership won't do it.

i don't know i will see if there are any instruction after i buy it

a lot of dealers only do mechanical work, they usually farm out body work. Simple stuff like a V-Limited lip they might do but drilling into a C-pillar that can't really be replaced if screwed up? That's something I would see them sending to a body shop.

Cause I just want to go wingless. It looks a little better without when yr wingless. But with the wing it looks freakin awsome! It's off my 07 sti 6k on it. All let it go for $250..
