I'm with you there. Although I'd prefer just a 1" lower stalk. I'll have to think about this one. . . my friend and I installed a SS kit in his 2004 WRX, and we were VERY pleased with the reduced throw. I'm jealous. ops:

Hmm.. I guess I am just the weird one. I prefer that the shifter not be that far away so when I am shifting, my hand is away from the wheel for the shortest amount of time possible.

Sometimes when you are on a long or reducing radius turn, I find that to be a saving grace... maybe it is just me.

Anything available with an adjustable height + shorter throw?

The STi short throw shifter retains about the stock height, however it does not shorten the throw as much as the Agency Power or Kartboy units.
