IWSTI Addict since: Dec 1969 Trader Rating: (11) | It's a long story, but I ended up ordering two C-West Carbon Fiber GT II S wings due to a big screw up in Japan. I have an extra wing that I need to get rid of so now is your chance to get one at a discount. The wing weighs less than 4 lbs and looks hot! Most importantly, it's one of the highest quality Carbon Fiber wings out there and it's also one of the few that are wind tunnel tested. The wing is completely functional, unlike most wings designed for style, so if you go to the track, this is the ultimate wing for you. I've had the chance to test it myself and I must say it works GREAT. I've never seen a car so planted (even in a high speed sweeper at 145mph with a crosswind!). Anyway, here are some pictures of the same wing installed on my car: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This is an un-opened, brand new, genuine JDM C-West wing and has a retail MSRP of $1450 USD + about $150 shipping from Japan (~$1600 total). I desperately need to get rid of it so I am offering it up for $1400 SHIPPED to anywhere in the lower 48 states. I'm going to end up eating about $250-$300 after shipping selling it at that price but I cannot afford to keep a $1600 wing sitting in my living room. Please send me a PM or reply to this thread if you are interested or have any questions. If you live the Los Angeles area and would like to see one in person installed on a car I have no problems meeting you. If you would like to verify the $1450 MSRP see C-West's English site here (1450mm is the size for the WRX / STI): http://www.c-westusa.com/gtwing/gt2/type4.asp Thanks! ![]() EDIT: Price is now $1149 shipped. Someone buy this thing already! This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. Last edited by Ben; 06-07-2006 at 01:18 PM. |

IWSTI Addict since: Sep 2004 Trader Rating: (0) | It is neat to see sombody go the direction you are with your car. From the mods to styling. The wing is too much, but I dig the cage and air intake mod ( even though it looks like a tattoo for spending ten years in the big house ), but getting rid of rotating mass is a great way to go first. What cage is that? |

IWSTI Addict since: Oct 2003 Trader Rating: (2) | Ben, the front fender scoops are SWEET man. If you are making more, is there the possibility of making them so that people can purchase them from you? This might be something I'd be interested in. As for the wing, I don't mean to offend, but it's hideous. Thankfully though, this is a very large forum with a huge array of tastes. I'm sure you won't have a problem selling it! Good luck! |

IWSTI Addict since: Dec 1969 Trader Rating: (11) | I'm making 3 or 4 more of those fenders, I'll have a post in my member's journal when they're available. As for the wing, I personally like the way it looks, but that's not why I bought it. It's strictly on the car for function, and there isn't really a better wing out there for the purpose of planting the rear end of your car to the ground . |

| Spec C Club | Yeah, that is one great looking wing but a little out of my range...Best of luck Ben and I will also keep my eye out for those fenders. BTW, do you have a mesh screen inside of the holes? We have seen birds go through fog lamp covers so a beaver could probably get stuck in that damn hole. This ad is not endorsed by this member.
