Exclamation SoCal: JDM STi Version 8 Seats -- SOLD

I am selling my rare JDM STi Version 8 Seats. These are the ultimate seats for anyone that daily drives their STi and wants to do autocross, track events, or canyon runs! These seats are more comfortable than the stock USDM STi seats, look better, and provide more lateral support with their superior side bolstering. These seats come standard on the STi in Japan.

The seats are practically brand new and show no signs of wear. They were only in my car for a few thousand miles. I love these seats and am only getting rid of them because I am converting my car to a full race car and am getting Recar Pro Racer Hans (full racing shell) seats. These seats were great for when the STi was my daily driver as well as my weekend track car.

Both seats are hieght adjustable and will fit just about any new age subaru.

Some pics of the seats in my car:

From the Subaru of Japan website:

These seats are about 10 pounds lighter (per seat) than the USDM seats.

I am entertaining offers for these seats so feel free to reply to this thread or send a PM. Thanks!

P.S. My set of Schroth Profi II ASM 4-Point Harnesses (as pictured in the links above) are also for sale. I would be willing to throw them in with the seats as a package deal if anyone would be interested. These seats with those harnesses are the ultimate package for any weekend racers out there!

Is it true that only the passenger-side seat is height adjustable? Since JDM is RHD. Or, are they both height adjustable?

Normally, only the passenger seat (driver side in japan) would be adjustable. However I modified the seats and took the seat rail and bottom assembly off of my stock STi seat and installed it on the JDM passenger seat (USDM driver seat) and now both are hieght adjustable. It's a very trick setup!

I'm looking for atleast $400 per seat. Nothing beats OEM fitment and quality, after all.

ooooo ... Hey, VSGTS14, wanna split em? We could each take a seat and install in the driver's location. Provided you can change the seat belt location and height adjuster of the pass. seat (to make it into a driver's seat). Screw the passenger! It would be like a G35, where only the driver gets the "hump" between the legs

OOOhh..I would SO jump on these if I didn't just get stealthback and AP. *bump* for the best Subie seats outside of the S203's.

Well, I can afford one . jsh139 you have a good idea if he can't get rid of them together (which I doubt he won't)

Hey guys.
If someone is willing to take the passenger seat for 300, I'll pay 500 for the driver's side.

22B, I may be interested.
You want the JDM drivers seat (the USDM passenger seat)? So I would be buying the JDM passenger seat (the USDM drivers seat / the seat the Ben modified to be height adjustable)?
