I can't even imagine what a 35r would be like. I will keep an eye out for that project.

| Professional STI Racer Feedback Score: 2 reviews | btw: how is the response of this setup vs the factory turbo? Can you make multiple road pulls without pulling timing? Anything special need to be done to get the sperco to fit? thanks, matt |

Response is very similar in first and second gear, however third and forth are noticeably much faster. I have been doing some logs watching the knock correction and haven't noticed anything yet. Though, I haven't been going too crazy with it yet. No special fitment with the spearco, I actually took the extra brace (thats not on prior Sti models) off that had the hole for the stock intercooler. The hole that was used to hold the extra brace lined up perfect with the spearco tab.

I have the cobb heat shield bolted to the stock bracket that attaches to the top of the downpipe. The bracket I took off connected from the bracket that covers the passenger side injectors and connected to the intercooler bracket. The 08 has two brackets that connect together for the intercooler. the spearco isn't as wide as the stock intercooler so I could take off the extended bracket since that hole wasn't going to be used. I'll try and get a close up pic.

IWSTI Addict since: Jun 2008 | me too! ok, I'm familiar with the 2nd bracket, but I just couldn't figure out why subaru made it so heavy. I guess it's also the passenger side injector protector. I have to delete both injector protectors because the APS tgv-deletes are missing the bolt holes. Frank |
