DYNO SHEET:

Notes:

I am very impressed with this combination. We achieved full boost (22psi) at 3500-3600rpm. AFR's were 10.5 (really conservative). Timing left on the really low conservative side (which you can see from the TQ). This turbocharger really starts to shine over 19psi. The vehicle hits a hard 360wtq by 4000rpm and pulls extremely hard straight to 7000rpm. Definitely fun to drive. I took the car for a 1 hour drive last night to visit my parents, all you heard was the whistling of boost even at 1/4 throttle. The reason we all purchase a turbo car . I tried to see if there was any vehicles (Porsche, etc.) to kind of play with but no dice. When I get sometime I will take this beast to the track and get some track results for you guys as always.

Power Increase: +150whp over stock (safe & conservative)

Tuning Note:

- AFR: 10.5
- BOOST: 22psi
- TIMING: Conservative
- FUEL: 93 Octane

How much did the AMR TMIC cost? I'm not familiar with the new 08 models, but where is the BPV. It looks like its usual flange is closed off.

The AMR TMIC is $899. What you see were the BPV or BOV sits is just a "BLOCK OFF" Plate we fabricated for testing. It is just bolted on. The flange is still on the TMIC for any BOV to fit.

That dyno plot is very impressive. Same power/spool as stock from 3400rpm and below, and tons more power after 3500rpm all the way to redline.

I was looking at 20g or atp 3071 for a turbo upgrade, but this turbo has me thinking more.

Extremely impressive gains for the mods done!!! And considering the conservative nature of the tune, I'm sure there's at least another 20-30 in there safely.

Keep up the good work.

What you all have been waiting for!

Vehicle:
- 2008 Subaru STi

Modifications:

- AMR Top Mount Intercooler (TMIC) w/ AMR Breather Kit
- AMR BMI Cold Air System
- AMR Dual Turbo Back Exhaust
- AMR T50R Bolt-On Turbocharger w/ Optional Upgraded Actuator
- AMR 750cc Top-Feed Injectors
- AMR Electronic Boost Control Solenoid
- AMR PROTune Map (COBB APv2)

Time Slip:

Thoughts:

On a personal note, I am extremely excited to finally pull off the 1.6 60ft. I have been pretty consistant with the 1.8's. But to finally hit a 1.6 is a personal achievement. As you can all see the 115.89mph in a 1/4 matches the 356whp the vehicle layed down on our dyno. The vehicle weighs 3548lbs with me in it along with some extra's in the back (daily driver). E.T. is excellent due to the perfect shifting and all. This is definitely a near perfect pass. The 2008 STi is more and more promising every time out!
