| Amateur STI Driver | Quick question... I just got your 1000cc kit for my 04 STI. I see you are only running one walbro fuel pump. Were you haveing any fueling issues? These are my plans. Tank>>Walbro 255 in tank pump>>Surge tank>>A1000 or Bosch 44 inline pump>> Inline filter>>BEGI FPR>>fuel rails Sorry to hijack your thread. |

This car does not have a surge tank, and we found that after about 520whp we needed to install a second pump to bring down IDC due to low fuel pressure on the top end. In other words, your set up is good and you should be fine. Quote:

| Amateur STI Driver | The in tank walbro will only be used to fill the surge tank. Then one Bosch 44 inline pump will push the fuel to the injectors through a in line filter and a fuel pressure regulator. When it is all said and done, the car should be pushing 600hp. I am just not sure if I like the duel walbro intank pump setups that I have seen. I think the surge and inline will be a better way to go. |

Q16 w/ATLEAST 12.8-13.2 AFR at 28psi on a 35R with race gas. Moderate timing I see 600whp/580wtq. Leave the cam timing alone. I know nothing other than cams loose tq and gain HP. I like to launch man. Simplicity at its best. Post up the race gas map whaen you get it dialed in. very anxious to see. | |

| Amateur STI Driver | I sent a message to the P&L site. But thought you may see it here first. With the 1000cc kit I bought from you. What is the thread pitch and barb fitting size on the rails? I will be replacing those items with AN fittings. |
