MODS: STOCK BLOCK 25PSi tapering to 21, Blouch Dominator 3R, HKS EVC, GT Spec Headers, HKS TBE, TXS Intake, PE800cc, Aquamist HFS-5, APS Fuel Rails, APS Inlet, Walbro255, Perrin FMIC, suspension goodies
OTHER/NOTES: I was forced to tune this OpenSource, as the Cobb AP is not working with my car at this time. I am very eager to work out the bugs and use the AP though. I think the comparison will be interesting.

This is my car, so I was able to try quite a few different things on it to see how they work out. This was after about 10 runs, so the motor was pretty hot...The chart you see shows 2 very interesting things...

1.The Synapse 50mm Wastegate is AMAZING! it holds boost perfectly. I am really impressed with the gate vs. the Tial 44mm, but I wated to see if it was the HKS EVC holding the boost so smoothly, so we swapped in a Turbosmart Boost 'T'. Let me tell you... the gate, worked flawlessly! Both runs use the same timing curve... the red run falls off a bit after 6k... the car was really hot, and we have a small fan...LOL, its probably the small intake(need a big MAF).

2. The HKS EVC allows the car to bulid boost almost 1k sooner. The HKS really spools the turbo nicely! HKS EVC FTW. ...I stopped the MBC run because the results were there, no need to beat the car on the Dyno.

A note..I have logs to show the HKS runs, and all of them show the stock MAP sensor reading 23.5 PSI(stock Sensor maxes over 24psi), not the 25PSI the AEM 5BAR on the Dyno showed. This is consistent from other SUbies we have tested. So, is the stock sensor inaccurate after 20 PSI, or is the AEM slightly off? Not too sure, but based on my other runs with the SZ49, I think the AEM is a little high, and the stocker does lose resolution too.

Finally, the HP/TQ numbers are a little low, but I stopped adding timing...it was late. The timing curve goes from 13 tapering up to 25 by redline. I want to fatten it up around 6K. I think that will get done at the track though.

Thakns for looking.

Was this on the original block/pistons? If so, that would be even more impressive and proves that the 07 pistons aren't weak!

Sure is, completely STOCK motor. The 07 pistons are fine, the problem was the tunes that were being done to the MY07 Sti. If you do not know how the logic works, you can accidently add timing in places where you don't mean to.... that is never a good thing.

Thanks for the kind words guys.

As always, feel free to PM/ask me any questions...I am always available.

Bodes well for my #482.

Ive been telling ppl that forever but they all want to blame the pistons. That timing advance B table has probably claimed quite a few stock blocks by now.

Good #'s John. Do you think that turbo setup has anything more in it if you were to go BigMaf? Just curious. Like to see you on 28psi-30psi with the 07 heads and all. 450whp on a DD is crazy fast. Would you recommend doing the HKS EVC over the Prodrive ebcs when comparing the differences in how long it takes to build boost as well as holding it/controlling its taper? Which would be more consistent? I'll be having you tune my car again soon as my intake is made up(yes, still waiting) and if you like the HKS EVC that much more, I'll ditch the prodrive for it. Your car is BAD!
