I'm looking into built short blocks and heads soon. I don't know what to go with though. I've been on TopSpeed's website, and they seem to have more things for Evos than they do STi's. Am I in the wrong section?

Sick car by the way, mate. Loving it.

They do just as many if not more Subies. Just call them if you need any info or pricing.

What wastegate spring are you running? If you have the .9 bar spring, you should buy a 1.3 bar spring set and keep your .9 and ad the .5 helper spring. It will stop the boost from dropping off towards redline. It is the best $30 part I did to mine. We'll see my results on the dyno as soon as I finish my meth kit and get back on the dyno.

I have the Tial 44mm EWG. It has the 18.7lb spring combo in it. The car holds boost fine on the street. It just struggled on the dyno. The AVCR should hold a little better than the Hallman MBC.

I love dyno numbers as much as the next guy, but I'm more of a function over form kind of guy. As long as I make the power on the street, that's all that counts to me.

Cool. The road tune is the real important part of the tune. I was able to get 2 1/2 more PSI when we road tuned.

Same here. I could get as much peak boost as I wanted on the dyno. We just couldn't hold it to redline until out on the street. Redline was where I was making peak WHP. Hopefully the AVCR will give me a little better control both on the dyno (for bragging rights) and on the street (where it counts).

awesome! so those are the UR fmic pipes, correct? They sold them to you seperately without the core? Any reason you didn't just go with their core, it's huge and polished!

I didn't use the UR core due to the fact that I already had a TXS FMIC kit on my car that I used with my previous FP Red set up. They (UR) make a TXS retro fit pipe kit, but it didn't look nearly as clean and plus I wanted to run the reverse flow set up in an attempt to reduce the amount of IC piping. So I bought the version 1 reverse flow piping kit and retro-fitted it to my TXS core. Yes, they did sell the UR FMIC piping separately.
