Modifications

Uhh....none. This was just a tune.

Information

Car had 633 miles when it was strapped to the dyno. Jorge, Clint and I were all excited about the change to the exhaust cam with the addition of AVCS. We were thinking this would allow for some stupid amounts of torque downlow with great airlflow.

Jorge started from the stock map and went from there. He smoothed the fueling, upped the timing and messed around with AVCS. He only upped the boost .5psi over stock, thus it is only running 15psi to hit these numbers!! I think this goes to show how much the AVCS tuning can do for the car. We would have gone further with the boost, but we were already running 95-98% IDC. Again I feel this is a result of proper AVCS tuning. Alos, look at how early torque peak is with the AVCS tuning. It really rips down low.

To go along with this, I was at the dragstrip today and was able to pull a 13.1 @ 105mph. Can't wait to get some injectors, a pump and a downpipe to see what stage 2 feels like.

Tony

Why haven't we heard about anyone else needing injectors or pumps? Other people are hitting much higher numbers, and if you are hitting 98% IDC already...what gives?

We feel this is due to the way Jorge utilized AVCS tuning on the exhaust cam. No one else has really played with it yet. They aren't building this much torque as early in the rev range either for the most part.

Well, two weeks is long enough at stage 1. Going up to Chicago again on Thursday for Stage 2. Going with a TXS 4" DP with a customer cat back adapter from P&L Motorsports. I'll post some numbers when I get back.
