I switched from the 30R to a 35R to see how it would perform. With 92 Pump plus a can of Torco, at 24psi, it netted 500whp and 511 lb-ft of torque. Torque peak at about 4600 rpm, and power above 450whp from 4500rpm to 7000 rpm. Not bad for a bugeye. ![]() ![]() Here is a comparison with an EJ257 with a 35R to compare spool difference. This is with the boost a bit lower then the 24 psi run above. Note that the AVCS was not turned on for my tune here, so the spool leaves a little on the table. None the less, it crosses 300 lb-ft about 400-500 rpm faster. ![]() Here is a comparison of the 30R vs the 35R on the same motor. 30R is ahead by about 500 rpm. ![]() Just for fun, here is my new 08 STI vs my H6 WRX. ![]() Oh and here is a comparo to my 2006 Twin Turbo GTO ![]() Of course the traction is much better in the WRX. ![]() And a few pictures to go along: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Cheers, Jeff Sponaugle This ad is not endorsed by this member.
