In the end, it is not a very economical way to go. Many of the parts are custom, and not cheap. However it is getting eaiser. The rods and pistons are now off the shelf available, all of the tricks for fitment and building are well known, and the Hydra supports the cam/crank trigger group perfectly. However you are still looking at something like 10-15k just to get everything going.

Any plans to go bigger than the 4094 on that bad boy!
-Rob
That is a good question. The 4094 with the right twin scroll setup should make really good power, and I use the car for track days not drag racing. Much bigger and I suspect the lag would be a challenge coming out of a bend. As it sits now with the 35R it is a bit loose coming out hard. I suspect the 4094 will make it just that much slide happier.

The 30R setup was the best for around town. Very fast spool with good top end. While the graph doesn't really show it, the off boost torque of the H6 was the most appealing. Light throttle at low RPMs made easy driving in traffic.

Here is a pic from the Subiefest-2 coverage in Subiesport.

Looks Good! One question though is why does this pic not have the red cam gear cover on it?

Now quit playing around with the pump gas and give us some real numbers with C16 or better yet VP Import...!!!

Good eye. That was the picture from the first build up, where I used the stock rods. I later rebuilt the engine using the Pauter rods. The stock rods were insufficient, as one might expect. I'll dig up the rebuild pictures and post those up.

Awesome build, now someone just has to do a build with the new 3.6 H6. 4.5mm sleeves from the factory, AVCS, AVLS, but i dont know what the fitment is like inside the engine bay.

On your build, how tight was it in the engine bay?
