edit: 25k+ in parts alone as the car sit, minus tuning & labor cost, I think we both know how much that stuff costs

an then plus all the money I've spent on my previous set-up's on the car....I feel sick
I've spent about $25k in the past two months on mine too. I'm using Tapout's car to give me an idea of what I'm looking at power wise. We'll have very similar setups.

Next is maybe the sway bars, and I am thinking about changing the stereo system a bit. As far as power, just a bit of fine tuning. I am running a bit of overboost with my meth and race tunes now with the cool weather since we tuned in 98* heat. I don't foresee making any major changes. I am happy with the power, and the cost associated with going further is too prohibitive at the moment. I have the rev limiter set for 8K.

Stock dimensions...I did not stroke or bore to gain cubic inches. Too many people blow their shyt up with stroker motors. I had a stroker for my Mustang, and I understand the change in the angles and the excessive force put on the wrist pins, cylinder walls, and bearings is not reliable as a daily driver. Too many parts take a hit with stroker set ups, and they just don't last. If I could afford to build a new motor every 10,000 miles, I would have considered it. Boring out is fine if you need to from damage, but there is no reason to thin the cylinder walls which help dissappate heat if you don't have to. The only thing I wish I had done was get the cams when I did the motor so I could have gone with Kelford's .272's instead of the .264's since they require machining. I also would have gone to a 1mm oversized valve at that time. If you want to go fast, dollar for dollar, put it in the heads.

My two step Launch Control is set to 6800 with a red line of 8K. If I launch at a lower RPM it will bog and fall out of boost. It is really hard to learn how to properly launch a big turbo car. This is the best video of one of my launches. The Mustang left almost .4 seconds before me, and I beat him to the 60 ft by almost .4 seconds. YouTube - STI GT35R 1/4 mile pump + meth 1st pass on new set up!
