For all these pictures I used a nikon D50 with an 18-55mm Nikor DX lens. I used a UV filter on all of them, but I do not think it made much of a difference. I use it more for protection than anything else. I have a circular polarized filter but not really sure I like how it makes pictures look just yet.. makes them very dark. So I dont use it.

Not sure our STI's would fit on that road. In the height of the pass, it was only 6 feet wide with a rock wall on one side and a cliff wall on the other.. straight out of a WRC tarmac rally..

Screw it, I would love my STI on that road as well!!!

WAY to dangerous Chris - I used to run that road when I was there, a lot of farmers/sheep and it is just way to narrow. But if it was closed off, then it would be sick

The first picture is the building that I took all my classes in, with the stain glass windows (Harry Clark, right?). My graduation was on that same alter, weird!

Pictures are beautiful.

Um the stained glass window was in an old chapel, I am not sure who Harry Clark is. Name does not ring a bell. And the alter, was in a chapel beside the Kylemore Abby...not sure if I understand where you are talking about off the top of my head. We did not go to any schools...

It's not a school, it's called Disert, it was an old nunnery. Now it is an educational institute (they teach Irish classes there, and it only has one room in the back). And yes, there is a church right next door.

Sorry to hi-jack your thread, pictures just brought back a lot of memories.
