Default Whats the difference between all these CPL filters?

I was looking for a 77mm CPL Filter for the Canon 24-105 F4L I have coming..and was bombarded with this:

http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/cont...r&at=Size_77mm

27 options..ranging from $50-300.

Whats the freakin difference?

different types of glass. the quality of your glass will greatly affect the color, sharpness and saturation of your shots. most people won't be able to tell the difference, especially after some post processing.

Just get what you can afford but don't buy "cheap" or "value priced" filters.

Im assuming with a $1100 lense I dont want to kill it with a cheap filter...

The Canon one is OoS and I need it by this weekend..

..so..between these 2, which would you get?

to be honest with you, I wouldn't spend anything over $100 for a CP filter but you're paying that much because of the 77mm size. B+W is a great brand and highly recommended but for that price, i'd get the Heliopan.

The multicoat lenses are better for reducing flare but the simple ones will be fine if you watch the flare yourself.
