That says a lot about the safety of the EVO. 130 MPH and no one is dead. It's also lucky as well.

haha they are lucky it wasnt a frontal or side impact. i wouldnt exactly call the evo a "safe" car.

I'm no forensic accident expert, but that car doesn't look damaged enough to have been an accident that occurred at 130 MPH. It's possible the driver was driving that fast at one point in time, but when the accident occurred, I'd venture to guess it was going quite a bit slower.

There may be some people in the Forum here that have had accidents at between 50 and 75 MPH that could compare the damage to their cars to the damage suffered by the Evo. I'd be curious to know what they think.

I totally agree with you on this one. There's no way they crashed at 130 mph. I crashed at half that speed and my car looked worse than that. Glad everyone's ok though, I've been through that and it sucks.

I wanna say this is the car that was stationed with me. He went to a different base, and called me a few weeks ago. He told me he they were going around a 110. THere is no plate, so I dont know if it is his car. Same color though. I did tell him he was an idiot.
