i usually use turtlewax classic. but this time i purchased the mothers california gold clay bar kit from walmart for about $14 bucks. it came with a clay bar, bottle of showtime quick shine (for use between waxes and as lube for the claybar), and a sample of california gold carnuba wax. ive never used that wax before but id have to say im pretty pleased

ps if you drop your clay bar on the ground DONOT use it again. I dropped mine but luckily it was when i was already done and putting it back in its wrapper

make sure you use plenty of polish/quickwax liquid for lubrication. if you run the clay bar on the paint with no lube itll smudge the surface. thats not a big deal cause you can just spray some polish and rub it out.

what i did was:
1) spray a generous amount of polish on a 1ftx1ft area
2) in a linear motion (NOT circular), rub the bar back and forth on the wet area
3) after satisfied that youve cleaned that area, wipe excess polish off with a cloth diper/terry cloth/etc
4) after each body panel is done or whenever it gets really gross looking, fold the clay bar over on itself a few times, and mould it back into a bar shape
5) move on to new area
6) after whole car is done you can either wash it again, and then wax or go ahead and wax right after

i should have taken pics, but im sure you get the idea. hopefully someone will think to post up a proper how-to. I hope this helped a little!
