well from my exp. with alienware..ive totaly lost hope in their company...all their technical supports sucks..they shipped the computer with a faulty motherboard so of course i had to get that fixed..in all its a good computer and performs outstanding but for the money i could of bought something way better with more reliability. and i got it as a graduation present from my gparents.i agree with a built comp. ftw!

Thanks! Actually it's going to be used for Cletus's new website. Ive seen his feedback and it looks ok. Sorry but has anyone bought anything off of him lately? Its not that I dont trust him but, he quoted me a price on a AP and DP. Im just not into giving my CC # to someone I really dont know at the time. Sorry for hijacking the damn thread... And Cletus if you read this Im sorry man, nothin' against you! You seem cool just checkin my resources! PM Me.

Build yourself FTW. Also, Alienware's W/C system is very sub par. You can build a very kick ass watercooled system for much cheaper if you do your homework, and you'll get rediculous performance.

Alienware's support was hands down #1 before Dell bought them. Then, it went downhill.

Honestly, the only reason I own an alienware was I wanted the bling in a laptop, and I wanted mobile performance. This thing sucks at being a laptop, its heavy as hell and has **** battery life. As for performance, it's a beast for a laptop, but my desktops **** on it.

Right now ont he table is a custom built system with a n860i MoBo, Xeon3060 @ 3.99GHz per core, 2GB RAM, 2x 8800GTX, and a custom watercoolign system using 7/16" Lines. I use it mainly for photoshopping (Ive been known to have 100+ files open at once) and gaming.

I've been using this as the background on both my desktop and laptop for a while now. I took this @ Rally Germany last summer.
