Question Top Speed Limit PIC

So bummed to find out the STi has a govornor? Before you flame away this was on our private closed circuit race track. Pic quality is poor thanks to the bouncy STi suspension and my low quality cell phone cam.

Scary speeds... people have passed the 160 mark on the tach, highly inaccurate at those speeds though.

I'd like to see a GPS reading on that speed.

Car shuts off at 151 or 152 so there is no way they have gone faster than that on a stock EM unit. I sat there all day trying to keep up with my friends going 170-180. I was bummed cus my G35 would sit at 160 no problem. Here is another pic of it but right after engine shutoff so couple mph slower.

Sounded bad. I would take either cobb or hydra(so not dogging on cobb or others), but I'm going with the hydramist and hydra set-up.

172.9 was in the standing mile. Car was amazingly stable at those speeds. Very comfortable.

Plenty of those. Just stinks to pass in corners only to get blown by again on straights. And the lambos and porsches were doing 180 on sweeper corners also.

A certificate Jay. That is hill air ee us.

You get desensitized and it is really not that fast on a controlled course.

What track where you at?

I lived and went to school in El Paso for a year and I know there isn't a track big enough to hit those speeds in the immediate area...

Maybe he was at Arroyo Seco? I use to live in El Paso too. Seco is only about 2 hours into New Mexico.
