Default My short visit to AR Fab (high res. pics).

Well since Mach V is closer, I usually go to them for all my tuning and part needs. They were busy this week, and heard great things about AR Fab. Soooo I decied to take my Tial BOV there to be welded on. They did an EXTREMELY clean job in smoothing out and welding on my al. flange on my TXS intercooler pipe.

Here are some pictures of the welds/mount/other engine bay pictures!

Thanks AR Fab!

(Better bead than the original one from the elbow that TXS welded)

Wow nice job, does the placement of the BOV make a difference?

With a regular MAF set up, you want it as close to the throttle body as possible.

What about with a Big MAF setup?

Same thing. The only time it differs is if you have a blow throuhg MAF set up. Where the MAF is actually on the cold side intercooler pipe. You want the BOV before the MAF, then the MAF, then the throttle body (this set up eliminates the need for a 90 degree intake on the compressor side of the turbo.
