Default Pic Tribute to the STI also Pics of the New IX

Well after a few requests to see pics of my new Evo IX, I finally had a chance to wash her up and get some good shots. This is however and STI site afterall, and I wouldn't feel right posting up pics of my new IX unless I post up some tribute pics of my past love...the STI. I will forever be an STI fan, but I had to try something different since I had little choice but to get rid of my STI. These forums are still my favorite, and I will continue to contribute in a postive way, even though I now own an Evo IX. So here are the pics. Enjoy!!

FP Green 91 octane / race gas mix

That is the SE edition interior, but yes the seats are nice. The only thing I don't like about them is that they lack an up and down adjustment.

The SE (Special Edition) has red stitched with Alcantara seats. Plus the SE has HID / fog lights, aluminum roof panel, and the BBS wheels. The regular Evo IX doesn't have any of these features. The SSL package has sunroof, leather, Infinity stereo system, and HID / foglights.

The meth tune started wreaking havoc on my engine. It was tuned to rich. I had already invested a ton of money into it to get it where it was, and I wasn't about to get it retuned or start all over. So I decided it was time to try something else.

that sucks man, but you did well for the replacement. Are you going to mod the EVO moderately or go all out?

I only plan on moderate mods for now. Exhaust, drop in filter, boost controller, wideband, egt gauge, fuel pump, tune, and catch can. That will probably be it.

A good race gas tune will be good enough for me from now on. I just wish we had 93 octane here. I've seen some promising numbers from guys running E85, so I wonder how well that stuff works.
