Iam in need of some help.... Iam looking to get a video camera to record some videos of auto-x and future car meets. I will have it mounted to a autopower rollbar and maybe get one of those suction cup thingies that mount to your doors or hoods.

My question is what video camera to get? Ive found a really really good price on the canon hv10 high def. camera but I would like to see how good of video quality it is. If anyone has this camera or any other well priced hd camcorder please help me out.

The only other thing is Iam also thinking of not getting the camcorder and buying a canon slr camera but cant make up my mind.
