Default Photoshoot ends in disaster

So we had a little photoshoot with some of our race club. Was going great until the end when I hit a mud flap on the raod from a tractor trailer. Need a new bumper now The car is only a week old so forgive the stockness of it.

A tractor trailer mud flap was lying on the road. The red Z06 was in front of me and drove over it without knowing it. It got sucked up into the air and slammed into the front of my car. Funny thing is I got my new STI license plate cover for it today. Guess that will look good on the shelf for awhile. The other bad part is that I just had the front covered in a 3M clear bra. $200 out the window plus the cost of the bumper and a windshield washer fluid bottle. No other body, hood or quarter panel damage though.

Been there man...

Mudguard slammed the front of my car, slid up my hood and onto the windshield right in my field of vision. I was doing about 80 or so...

Holy #$%@

Glad you're alright. Your car is very nice!

Yea I was amazed at how heavy and thick those things are. It is sitting in my trunk right now. But then again they are designed to stay down and take a beating from rocks. The subi bumper just shattered like plastic...oh wait, it is plastic
