there wasn't anything between the animals and myself... The alligator pic is not in focus because he was coming towards me as I was walking backwards lol. I had my 18-55mm lens on, so I had to be close. The gator was a little scary, but the one that got me the most scared was this one... Its the fastest striking snake in the world and it was about 2 feet away from me with noone holding it or anything.

its hard to tell how big it was, but belive me... it is HUGE.
