Default My Blinder X-Treme M40 Setup

Installed this last week but never posted pics...just snapped some now.

I'm going to buy an OEM Subaru button to make it look better since now it's ghetto rigged lol.

This switch turns on the laser jammer

Mounted 2 jammers in the left and right side of the grill....this one is the left. They didn't fit at first so we dremeled about a 3/4" cutout

2 jammers on lower grill

Top right grill jammer

I will try to get better pictures tomorrow...

Laser Jammers are illegal in the states of Nebraska, Minnesota, Utah, California, Oklahoma, Virginia, Colorado, Illinois and Washington DC....but not Florida where I live Radar JAMMERS on the other hand are...I too am interested to see how it works...I've been told the M40 is top of the line as far as laser jammers are concerned so I'm waiting to get shot by laser to report back on the details. Since I have no jammers in the back of the car I can get hit there, but I think most laser comes from ahead....basically if I get shot by laser (NOT radar which includes K/Ka)...the police officer's gun will get no reading until I am very very close or I turn my laser jammer off. You're supposed to have your jammer on...get hit by laser...the cop can't get a reading...you slow down to a safe speed...turn on your jammer...and then a cop gets the reading.

technically speaking, I think light emissions (i.e. Laser) is regulated by the FDA (or something like that), so unless your state prohibits these (like CA), they should be legal... I think.

The overall idea to their use is this:
you have the laser jammer on.
When a laser speed gun is fired at you, the unit sends back
a jamming signal which confuses the gun and makes it read
as some kind of error. During this time, the alarm in the jammer
also goes off, allowing you to slow down to legal speed. You then
turn off the laser jammer and allow the cop to "re-shoot" you so
that they get a speed reading of you travelling at a legal speed.
The cop will then hopefully chalk up the error reading due to some
kind of technical factor...in theory...

Different...Radar jammer will block K, Ka, and I believe X....any type of radio frequency.

Laser jammers ONLY block laser...but I find where I live that they are using laser more often. Laser jammers do not cause problematic radio signals which is why they are not illegal in most states but radar JAMMERS are...FCC doesnt like them.

Also, realize that most radar detectors - when the laser alarm goes off, it's already too late. The laser jammer is probably the only way to give yourself a second chance to slow down, even if it is illegal

Personally, I will use it only when I'm on the highway on relatively sunny days...
