As I pulled up to the intersection a couple of days ago I saw this:

Then I got closer and saw what really happened:

I kinda feel bad though, I remember when I dropped my u-joints on my old S10 Blazer

And heres something I captured the other day too. I guess Lexus is too big nuts to ship their cars on standard car transport trailers? Or is this something else? :

BMW does that too actually. It prevents road grime, acid rain, stones, etc from damaging the cars before they get to the stealerships. It costs manufacturers a lot of money to fix cars damaged during shipping!

^ Yeah, a lot of the cars you see on a lot come in and immediately get a once over and a detail.

regarding the wheel falling off pics:

On the way home from a VA 4-wheeling weekend, the left rear wheel of my buddy's bronco (which was towing a trailer w/ camping gear 2 quads and a dirtbike, plus one quad in the truck) came off while going down the highway at about 70. I was inside, it was pretty damn crazy, but he managed to slop without causing an accident. The shower of sparks help make every on the road back off a bit. The wheel went into oncoming traffic and a minivan hit it head on. Everyone was ok, but it messed the van up pretty good.

I wish I had pics of my jeep when its wheel came off. I was doin 45 when it came off, and came 3 1/8" away from takin out a telephone pole.

Its funny cuz my jeep looked EXACTLY like that one, only the passenger wheel came off.
