We bought a 10" Dobsonian telescope for Christmas, and last night was the first night that it was clear so I took this shot. I don't have a mount so I did my best to keep the camera steady as I pointed it through the eyepiece:

^^^ Great moon shot for being handheld! I've been looking at telescopes and adapters lately for this very purpose.

I use a Canon 30D with a bunch of different lenses. The XLR-V shot was taken with an EF 50mm f/1.4, the sunset was with a 70-200 f/4 L.
