Thanks very much...but you can tell it needs the help of a tripod. I am going to go take better pics in this same location....If you would like a full sized pic, send me an email address and I will be happy to send you one, but I think I can do a better job given the right equipment.

a tripod will help, but i also think you need to focus on the car not the airplanes. not sure you have a slr or not but use manual focus instead of autofocus.

used an olympus digital something or other. I forgot. I cannot manual focus, it wont let me. I can control the Fstop, apperature, and exposure on this. But thanks everybody on the compliments..
here are some others...

one trick you can use is aim at the car and get it into focus. then while still holding the button halfway, readjust your composition. that way your car is still the focus while the background stays where it should be, the background.

i still use my canon sd500 point and shot and use the same techniques. works like a charm. hope this helps

Thats good advice...I used a similar trick at the United State Grand Prix with my Nikon SLR. That way I could focus on my corner of the track, adn turn off autofocus... knowing everthing from point A to point B is perfect!

More pics to come

That first pic is spectacular. I use to have a digital Olypmic something-or-other, but I did not produce anything like that. The composition is outstanding, it just floors me.
