Unhappy My STi got rear ended.

I was in the walmart parking lot waiting for a woman to pull out so i could get her spot, when i heard a CRUNCH come from the rear of my car. Look up into the rear view mirror and see a Jeep Cherokee up in my STis ass.

I'm sure it'll be repaired quickly and all that but I took a lot of time taking care of it since I bought it October 3rd last year. It'll look like nothing happened when I get it back, but it's ruined to me now. Damn women drivers in SUVs.

"Oh s***", is what I said when I saw the title of your thread. That blows dude, but look at it this way... it gives you a shot at ordering a Spec C trunklid!!!

Yeah, I'm starting to calm down a bit now. Thanks guys. It'll get fixed and I'll be in a rental for a few days or whatever. If the price is close enough, I'll try to do the Spec C trunk, but I can't imagine that there is a big weight savings between that and the stock trunk. The stock trunk seems to be aluminum or metal itself.

Lift/close the trunklid on an EVO and you'll be whistling a whole different tune!!

My car lusts for one at the mercy of saving weight. Plan on seeing one on my car before the start of next year's racing season.
