Default Pic request please

Please could someone with an STi take a hi res picture of the dials (speedo, rev counter etc) at night with them lit up - square on.

Something like this which I found on nasioc.

And or if you want to be arty do a slow shutter speed and blip the rev counter do that it ghosts.

Thanks mate. They are great, but I really wanted a straight on shot. but thanks just the same.

Took a couple of quickies....unfortunately I didn't have a tripod at the time. Appologies for the slight blur.

yeah, slight blur my ***. those are fairly crisp! and how did you get it to sit at 6k and still get a good photo?

The car was actually at idle....I moved the needle in post to add a little excitement. Guess I should have moved the speedo needle too huh?

There....all fixed. Shh....don't tell anyone.


Parker: Took these with a Canon IS lens....sure helps for a steady hand held shot. The blur is more noticeable at larger size. I'm just VERY critical of my photos.

Whew, I didn't want you to get carbon monoxide poisioning .

My attempt with a high ISO, nothing special:



Like the one above but with a faster shutter and the background blackened (so you don't see the steering column):


With the fast shutter, it freezes the needles during the guage sweep:
