SPT STI @ LB Grand Prix

There are some shots of the SPT STI from the LB grand pirx up on my blog. here is the link. unfortunately i had to shoot through some fencing so there is some in the foreground. more are on their way. i just have to go through and edit them. they'll be up in a day or two. enjoy!

the wheels on that car are amazing, how did it fair with the competition?

The wheels are just normal Volks, everyone is getting wood over them for some reason... I talked with the driver (Gary Sheehan) for about an hour the weekend after the race and he said the same thing. Just regular wheels, nothing special. Wait until you see the custom Arceo wheels that are being made for the car. They are supposed to be much nicer. The car still has a LONG way to go in preparation. If you think it's amazing know you will be blown away in a few months if SCCA allows them do what they plan to do.

The car did not fare too well. The master cylinder went out very early on and Gary was fighting with no brake pressure the entire race. You can get more info from his website. http://www.teamsmr.com

Oh and it's not the SPT car, it's the ESX car. SPT isn't even a sponsor, just Ontario Subaru and Subaru of Santa Monica.

Nice shots. I can remember when Gary was running Rotas on his WRX track car. Nice to see him making some upgrades.
