Talking R32 Skyline pics (w/ a subaru of course)

Hey everyone, Im new here but an old schooler on nasioc, so this is my "hi Im a noob to this site" thread...
All comments welcome guys!

This is with my step brothers STi:

The car is an 89 Skyline GTS-T (RWD 2.0L turbo), heres the goodie list:

Repainted Bayside Blue
Volk 18x10 rear, 18x9 front (BFG KDW tires)
Tein HA coilovers
Bride seats
Front strut bar
3" turbo back
Blitz intake
444cc injectors
Walbro fuel pump
HKS FMIC
GT28RS turbo swap
Apexi boost gauge
Greddy Profec B spec II
Custom reflashed ECU for tuning

Im hoping for around 300-310 wheel when we go to the dyno!

Thanks for looking everyone!

Dan

The STi is my step brothers, we live in the same appt building .

As for black on the bumper, its catless, and the car back fires like crazy. Its also a bit rich right now until we dyno tune it.

Nice, Skyline...drifting fun i assume. What made you go with the GTS-T over the GTR. If i lived in canada i would totally pick up a Skyline.

Here is some info on that

According to Transport Canada, vehicles manufactured to meet the safety requirements for countries other than Canada and the United States do not comply with the requirements of the Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Act, can NOT be altered to comply and can NOT be imported into Canada.

However, vehicles fifteen (15) years old or older as determined by the month and year in which the vehicle was manufactured, and buses that were manufactured before January 1, 1971, are an exception to this rule and CAN be imported into Canada.

Vehicles acquired in foreign countries other than the U.S. and designed, built, tested and certified to meet either all applicable Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standards or all applicable United States Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards and bearing a statement of compliance label affixed by the original manufacturer, as required by the Regulations, may be eligible for importation into Canada provided the vehicle has not been altered and the certification from the original manufacturer is maintained.

The illegal importation of a motor vehicle into Canada is a criminal offense. Inadmissible vehicles will be denied entry into Canada and will be detained. All storage and disposal fees are the responsibility of the importer.

Thanks for the comments guys!
Flyinbysti- I went with a GTS-T over a GT-R because, well mainly the gts-t was the only option at the time since my skyline is literally the first skyline ever registered in quebec.

But I would do a gts-t again if I had to becuase I like the RWD layuot, im tired of AWD with subys a bit (in summer only). I did do a drift competition with it as soon as i got it actually

And you are exactly right on ther laws regarding importing cars to Canada. Basicly, my blinkers need to work, but other than that there is no restriction as to what is done to the car. I tell cops that I dont have a cat when they have pulled me over for an exhaust ticket, becuase to their dismay they find out that they arent allowed to give me a ticket at all, due to the fact that the car is imported and 15 years old (they HATE that, one cop got really pissed off that he couldnt nail me for a ticket lol!

And everyone is surprised as to how much they cost! I tell people 16k canadian and they say "60k?, not too bad man!"

Yeah, it's pretty sweet. They really aren't all that costly up there. I am looking into a few different options. I am currently checking the policy in the US of bring a car from Canada into the US. It looks like it may be easier then trying to import it from Japan to the US.

It's not as easy as just swapping the thing in there. There is alot to consider. If he is going to be doing alot of drifting the current setup he has will acutally work better then swapping to the more heavy RB26. You can build a perfectly strong RB20 motor with no worries.
