I think by subject would be best.. Like Cars, Nature, Landscape, etc.. And maybe some sub-forums as well..

Cars
-Outdoors
-Group Shots
-Single Shots
-Money Shots

And so on.

Yeah, make a sticky for tips on how to shoot. We got a lot of very good photographers here and I personally could use their inputs

seriously though, this is not a place to post pictures of scantily clad/naked women. OT already has enough of that so lets use some of that good judgement i know we all have.

I think it would be slightly of topic for this forum although it is a cool idea. I think that's why we have the Off Topic category.

True, but with as many members into photography (this forum really is awesome!) as we have, this is definately a good idea.

I think we should minimize the amount of subforums. Just keep it a simple photography forum with a photoshop subforum. Leave the car colors threads as stickies or create its own subforum and thats it.

Subforum after subforum gets too defined then the forum ends up dying.
